Q: Can a paternity evaluation be done without testing the mother?
A: Absolutely! The mother's specimen is not necessary for accurate testing to be performed.

Q: What if the parties are in different cities, or want to be tested in different locations?
A: We have a large network of test sites, and have much experience with this kind of testing. We take special care to make sure that specimens collected at different times and locations are tested together at the lab.

Q: How are specimens collected?
A: We perform a "buccal swab". This means that we rub a cotton swab, similar to a Q-tip, against the inside of the cheek, to collect cells for evaluation. While it is just as accurate as a blood test, this procedure is painless and non-invasive, making it a much more desirable test, particularly in the case of small children.

Q: How reliable are the results?
A: When the results say that the alleged father is not the biological father of the child in question, the results are 100% accurate. To include the alleged father as the father of the child, it is technically impossible to reach a 100% conclusion. However, we do the most extensive testing in the industry (far surpassing the requirements), to ensure that your results are 99.9% accurate, more accurate than any other lab.

Q: When you quote me a price, is it the total cost, or will my actual bill be higher?
A: The price we quote you will include all shipping, collection, and reporting costs. There are absolutely no additional surprise fees!
